Pipelines laid in flat ceiling slabs weaken the load-bearing cross-section of the ceiling considerably, so shear load reinforcement generally has to be provided.

The DURA Box shear load reinforcements allow more than 100% of the shear strength of the undisturbed flat slab to be achieved.
